Dysport has a slightly different formula than BOTOX. What can Dysport do for my look?

Whenever you laugh, frown, concentrate or squint into the sun, your facial muscles contract, and your skin creases. As you get older your skin loses its elasticity and those creases deepen into lines that become permanently etched on your face. Frown lines between your eyes can become particularly noticeable at a relatively young age, making you look angry or worried even when you're not.

By temporarily immobilizing the muscles you use to frown or make facial expressions, Dysport can smooth out those lines, restoring a more youthful, less stressed expression to your face. The lasting effect of treatment with Dysport varies from person to person but is generally about three to four months before another set of injections is needed. You may discover the results last longer over time as the muscles “unlearn” the constant contracting motions.

What is Dysport?

Dysport is a protein extracted from the bacterium clostridium botulinum, the same active ingredient as is in BOTOX. It is used to treat many neuromuscular disorders, for which it is licensed in over 60 countries.

What is a treatment with Dysport like to experience?

Tiny amounts of Dysport are injected directly into the facial muscles beneath etched-in frown lines. You can expect the entire treatment to take no more than 20 minutes at most, after which you can just return to your usual day, work, or play. Aftercare instructions will be provided for optimal results.

How long does Dysport take to work?

Over the days following your injections, specifically targeted muscles will gradually relax. You probably won't notice the transformation – you'll just become aware that your frown muscles are relaxed, rather than overactive. You will still blink normally and be able to raise your eyebrows, and our injectors are focused on ensuring your results look entirely natural, not overdone, or frozen – it is all in our precision technique and full understanding of how the product works.
